A trip to Milan, a fool or two, plus one fancy dog – Welcome to William Shakespeare’s Two Gentlemen of Verona!

Best friends Proteus and Valentine embark on a journey where hilarity ensues when they fall in love with the same woman. Set in the roaring 1920s and featuring disguises and gangsters, this new adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s earliest works is a dramedy for the modern era.

Meet Anne Shirley, an 11 year old orphan with red hair and a vivid imagination. When Anne is mistakenly sent to live with aging siblings Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, Anne learns that one thing could ruin her dream of a new life at Green Gables – she is not a boy.

Written by local youth, this new one-act adaption of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s iconic book premieres June 7 – 9 at the Masonic Theater in downtown Marquette.

Wheelchair Access and Mobility
SAY Theater encourages the use of mobility equipment whenever necessary to improve access to our productions and programs. Wheelchair-accessible entrances at our rehearsal space, the Marquette Hope Connection Center, are located near both the upper and lower level parking lots. A wheelchair-accessible restroom is located on the upper level of the building and may be accessed from the lower level via elevator. Service Animals
SAY Theater acknowledges the vital relationship between a person with disabilities and their service animal. Examples of service animals include dogs used by people who are blind, hearing-alert animals for people who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing, and animals trained to alert an individual to an oncoming seizure and lead them to safety. Service animals are welcome at SAY Theater. Please contact Becky Heldt at becky@saytheater.org prior to bringing a service animal to an activity or program to ensure the appropriate arrangements are made. 

Support Persons
A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person escort them on our premises. There is no fee for support persons attending any of our programs.
